The Main Event
- Following fears that 2010 would be for the Twilight Dance Series, the concert program starts a new season tonight with a mambo-themed show. Grupo Fantasma and Oscar Hernandez’s L.A. Salsa Allstars will play from 7 to 10 p.m., with salsa-dance lessons happening at 6 p.m. The concert—which will take place on , of course—will benefit Padres Contra el Cáncer, a nonprofit organization group that helps Latino children who are fighting the disease.

- Meanwhile, earlier in the day at the nearby , a March of the Soulless will take place to hype the season premiere of the Starz series Torchwood: Miracle Day. The march starts at 11 a.m. and will continue later in the day in Westwood Village.
Other Happenings
- The is set to host a sneak preview of Salvation Boulevard, a religiously themed dark comedy starring Pierce Brosnan, Marisa Tomei and Greg Kinnear. Director George Ratliff and producer Cathy Schulman will lead a discussion after the 7:30 p.m. screening. Tickets are $11, with discounts available.
- kicks off Ready for a Close Up: Location Filming in Los Angeles, a new five-week class, this evening. The cost is $30, and the class will run from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Go here for more info.
- The puts on a couple of entertaining events today: a video game session revolving around the Nintendo Wii's fit and sports games (from 10 to 11:15 a.m.); and the Latin-tinged body-workout class Zumba Gold from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
