Mar. 30: Emperor's College Raises Money for Japan Relief

Recapping Tuesday, we ran of exclusive pictures featuring Fergie, Josh Duhamel, and Paris and Nicky Hilton taking part in the recent Youth Run 4 Japan.   • While hosts an Ear Acupuncture Clinic every Wednesday, today's is special: All proceeds will go to the International Medical Corps to help with disaster relief in Japan. Thirty-minute acupuncture sessions will be held from 12:45 to 4 p.m.; the cost is $15. No appointment necessary.

  • Social activist Torie Osborn—who has previously worked for Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, the United Way of Greater Los Angeles, and the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center—is the featured speaker at tonight's Activist Support Circle meeting. The talk will start at 7 p.m. at the , with refreshments served a half-hour earlier.

Other Happenings

  • A new exhibit, , opens today at the . Featured artifacts include rarely seen photographs and documents from before and after became a hotel in 1924. Tickets are $6 (half as much for seniors and students), and the exhibit runs through May 31.
  • 's Movies on the Deck series continues at 7 p.m. with a screening of the John Hughes classic . Giveaways are available for the first 100 guests.
