  • Another screening of Race to Nowhere will take place tonight, this time at . The documentary, screenings of which have been presented by various schools in recent months, will be shown in the JAMS auditorium starting at 7 p.m.

Other Happenings

  • The 12th annual B. Riley & Co. Investor Conference doesn't start until Tuesday, but a welcome cocktail reception will take place tonight. For the two-day conference, which is taking place at , more than 140 companies will give presentations—relating to technology, retail and other topics—to investors and other financial services professionals. Tonight's reception starts at the hotel at 5:30 p.m.
  • A discussion about hormones will happen from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the 's Multipurpose Room. "Hormones and Health: Healing on All Levels" will be led by Dr. Babak Ettekal of Balance Westside Wellness. He'll also talk about menopause, testosterone and stress-related hormone imbalances.
  • Also at the Main Library, the Teen Advisory Council will congregate in the Children's Activity Room for its latest meeting. The discussion, during which high school leaders plan events for young people, will take place from 4 to 5 p.m.
