Check out how Santa Monica Patch readers answered last week's question, and share your responses to our new one.

Moms Talk is a new feature on Santa Monica Patch that is part of a new initiative on our Patch sites to reach out to moms and families.

Last week, Santa Monica Patch Moms Council Member Catherine Myman-Kaplan to Santa Monica Patch readers: "Where are the best places to take preschoolers when it rains in Santa Monica?"

"We like to go to the under the . Then jump in puddles after it stops!" wrote a reader who uses the moniker "makaplan1."

(Go to check out photos of the Santa Monica Pier Aquarium's "Whale of a Weekend," which was held Saturday—while it was raining, incidentally—and Sunday.)

Another Santa Monica Patch reader posted the following response to the aforementioned question: " on has a nice little kids section," Gregg Rosenzweig wrote. He added, amusingly, "After that, the inside the is a great place where you can get a little shelter while dropping far too much $$$ on things your kids don't need."

The rain may have ended for the time being, but do you have any additional suggestions to share, so parents can be prepared for the next time? Don't be shy; drop your thoughts in the comments box below.

Also, Catherine Myman-Kaplan has provided a new question for you to chew on: "Are there any yoga classes for the under-5 set?"

Know of any? Do tell, in the comments box below.

If you have a question you'd like to pose to the Santa Monica Patch readership, feel free to do so—again, in the comments box, or via e-mail to Kurt.Orzeck@patch.com.

Finally, if you'd like to join the Santa Monica Patch Moms Council, there's still room. Drop a note to Kurt.Orzeck@patch.com.
