Bowling for a good cause, the red-hot Pinkalicious: The Musical and the Vintage Fashion Expo are all on tap this weekend.

Why Go: Keep in mind, this is "The SuperBowl-a-Thon" not "The Super Bowl-a-Thon": bowling is on the agenda, not football. You won't actually be watching the big game at this event, which is happening Friday; rather, you and your neighbors will be raising money for the Westside Hunger Coalition.

2. Pinkalicious: The Musical

Where/When: , Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. (through Feb. 20)

Why Go: The ticket is red-hot for the Los Angeles premiere of this musical production, which is based on the book of the same name. The show is presented by The Youth Education Entertainment Series.

Pricing: $8 ($6 for children under 13)

3. Super Duper residency

Where/When: The Central, Friday, 8 p.m.

Why Go: Feeling funky? Get a dose of Super Duper, an L.A. septet (that's seven people) who are setting up camp at this club for the next three Fridays.

Pricing: $5

4. "Fireside at the Miles"

Where/When: Miles Memorial Playhouse, Friday and Saturday, 8 p.m.

Why Go: Sadly, the fire is petering out, and the final two performances of the series are happening this weekend. Catch post-classical quintet The Robin Cox Ensemble on Saturday; and all-vocal groups Evolution, Frequency and SoundStage the following night.

Pricing: Tickets are $10 for adults, and half as much for children under 17, seniors and students.

5. Vintage Fashion Expo

Where/When: , Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Why Go: Three decades old, the expo finds dozens of designers from across the country descending on the auditorium to flaunt their latest wears. From hats and shoes to jewelry and textiles, all your clothing needs will be ad-dress-ed.

Pricing: Admission is $10; parking at the auditorium costs $9
