3rd Annual Pub Crawl Returns Saturday

It's not too late to stitch together an elf costume in time for the Santa Monica Pub Crawl.

In it's third year, the annual flocking of costumed revelers to local bars starts at 5 p.m. Saturday.

Teams with names like "Frost ReinBeers" and "Yule Never Beat Us" will go pub-to-pub along the Third Street Promenade, Wilshire Boulevard, Main Street and the pier. Each route includes stops at seven bars.

The event is held in partnership with the Westside Food Bank. Last year, participants donated 4,000 pounds of canned food. This year, participants, who pay a $10 free to participate, are being asked to bring cash donations for the nonprofit.

Register here for the pub crawl here. Ticket can also be purchased at each starting location, though organizers said to expect long lines. With tickets,  participants will receive food and drink specials at participating bars and entrance into an after-party.
