This Weekend in Santa Monica!

Preview performances of a play starring Helen Hunt, a pub crawl and two new art exhibits are among the events taking place this weekend in Santa Monica.

Why go: KCRW presents a new version of Wilder’s iconic American play starring Helen Hunt. Get up close and personal with the Hunt, as most of the seating for the production will be on stage with the actors. Preview performances start Friday night.

Why go: Team in Training, a group of runners who fundraise for the Leukemia a and Lymphoma Society, will hit four bars in its seventh annual pub crawl to benefit the foundation. All are welcome, even non-runners!

Why go: Hear from Charles Fox—a Grammy and Emmy-award winner—about the famous songs he's composed, including the Roberta Flack classic "Killing Me Softly With His Song."

Why go: Watch as animals invade famous homes such as Frank Lloyd Wright’s Hollyhock House in a new video, sculpture and photo exhibit by Los Angeles-resident Adam Berg titled "Endangered Species." Berg's exhibit will open in conjunction with with Georgi Tushev's "Strange Attracto," a collection of paintings and works on paper of oil paint exposed to extreme magnetic fields.
