Who's the 'Greatest Person' in Santa Monica?

Know of an exceptional individual making a difference in the community? We want to hear all about him or her.

Patch, in tandem with Huffington Post Impact, is running a new series called "Greatest Person." It spotlights ordinary and extraordinary people who do incredible things within communities like Santa Monica, to respond to issues brought on by the recession.

The series launched on The Huffington Post after the release of Huffington's book, Third World America: How Our Politicians Are Abandoning the Middle Class and Betraying the American Dream.

Greatest Persons are individuals who have made a major difference in the community—not just people who have held a position or been involved with an organization for a long period of time. They could be people involved with a faith community, a nonprofit, a school, a senior center, a firehouse, a community center or the city government. There are no age restrictions, but the individuals need to be available to be interviewed by Santa Monica Patch.
