Learn the basics of crocheting in the round with artist Cheryl Cambras as you create a super cute bird to call your own. In this class you'll learn how to chain, single crochet, increase, decrease, and attach multiple parts. All levels welcome. Born and raised in the Nebraska Sandhills, Cheryl Elsbury Cambras lives and works in Los Angeles.  Drawn to a life of adventure and exploration, a constant well of inspiration comes from her childhood filled with big skies and open plains.  Minimal landscapes inspire abstraction in her work: from the essential forms of her creatures and textiles, to the orchestration of color and volume in her paintings. She received her MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and her work has been displayed and collected internationally.

Parking and Transport: Parking is $1 for first 2.5 hours in Parking Structure 6 (2nd between Broadway and Santa Monica), each 30 min. thereafter $1.50, max $14. 120 Broadway, flat $5 after 4pm and weekends. Registration (bring cash to cover material fees) In Person: Advance registration accepted at 1450 Ocean between 9am-5pm M-F & 11am-4pm most Saturdays. Dropping in? Call 310-458-2239 to confirm availability, preferably by the Tuesday before class starts; plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of class; some classes do not allow drop ins.
Refunds/Transfers: A $15.00 processing fee applies for each multisession activity refunded; one-time classes and expended material fees are nonrefundable.
