The Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica(BGCSM) is hosting a Celebrity Charity Poker Tournament and party on April 24 at the Lexus Santa Monica showroom as part of its 70th Anniversary celebration. More than 150 guests are expected including celebrities, VIPs, trend-setting young professionals, “Silicon Beach” entrepreneurs, athletes, musicians and more.
Funds raised at this Texas Hold’em style
tournament will go
towards improving and expanding BGCSM’s award-winning programs and services
that reach 8,000 children 6-18 years old, across 109 zip codes.

Smirnoff (Dancing with the Stars); David
Allen Grier (Comedian/In
Living Color); Carl Weathers (Rocky); Dennis Haskins (Saved By the Bell); Joanna Krupa (International Supermodel/Real Housewives of Miami);

Diaries/Melrose Place); Roger Cross (Continuum); Jarron
Collins (NBA); Shawn Stokman (Boys II Men); Gilles Marini (Dancing
with the Starts, Sex in the City); Tony Denison (The Closer, Major
Crimes); AJ Buckley (CSI NY, Justified), Joey Fatone (‘N SYNC).
In addition to rubbing shoulders with
celebrities at the poker table, tournament players can win valuable prizes
including a 6-night stay at the fabulous Hut Pointe Inn
on Eleuthera, Bahamas, a 2-night stay at La
Jolla Beach & Tennis Club with a $200 gift
certificate for dinner at the award-winning Marine Room restaurant, and a 55” JVC
smart LED HDTV.

Hors d'oeuvres will be provided by well-known
Santa Monica restaurant TINGA,
and beverages will be poured by Venice
Beer Company, Don Benito Tequila and Mangria.
Red carpet arrival and registration begins at 6:30,
and poker begins at 8:00pm sharp at the Lexus Santa Monica
