Come and join SPIRIT SOUL AND FRIENDS for peaceful chanting and rock out kirtan on Friday, August 23, 2013, 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the MAHARAJA CUISINE OF INDIA, 2437 Main Street, Ventura, CA (805-641-3644).
"Chanting and Kirtan For Peace" is a family-friendly event and it is FREE. Donations are accepted but never expected. Bring a friend, your whole family and/or your loved ones! No experience necessary! Some instruments will be provided for rent compliments of Pulse Drumming. We welcome you to bring your favorite acoustic instrument, drum, hand percussion, smiles and voices.
An All-You-Can-Eat Vegan/Vegetarian buffet will be set up in the banquet room where the kirtan will be conducted. Buffet price is $15.00 per person and will include:
- Vegetarian Appetizers
- Dahl
- Vegetable Pakoras
- Saag Paneer
- Paneer Masala
- Cauliflower/Potato dish
- Rice
- Naan Bread
- Dessert
- Chai Tea
IMPORTANT: Please understand that we do not charge for kirtan and that the $15.00 is for the buffet only. THE KIRTAN IS 'FREE'.
