Community Corner

Drum Circle

Come drum with us! Every 3rd Sunday of the month from 2 to 3pm.

Ever want to try drumming? Experience the
power of drumming as a community and jamming
with friends! Get into a groove and relax, let out your
stress, express yourself creatively, and let the kids put
their energy into the drum. We all have rhythm within
us because we all have a heartbeat. Everyone can drum!

Join Ossie Mair at the YWCA for our drum circle! We have drums available for your use, but you're welcome to bring your own! Drumming is an ancient approach that uses rhythm to promote healing and self-expression. Recent research reviews indicate that drumming accelerates physical healing, boosts the immune system and produces feelings of well-being, a release of emotional trauma, and reintegration of self.
