 The Instructor: Patricia K. Meyer is a professional screenwriter, producer, and professor in her 9th year at the American Film Institute Conservatory. For over two decades Meyer has written screenplays for the major studios and TV networks, including true crime adaptations for Martin Scorsese, as well as Robert DeNiro's Tribeca Films.  Meyer also has produced seven movies for television.  She launched her producing career with the Emmy-nominated ABC miniseries, The Women of Brewster Place starring Oprah Winfrey.  She executive-produced the 20th Century Fox release This Is My Life, Nora Ephron's directorial debut. After receiving a B.A. in History and Literature from Harvard University, Meyer earned an MFA in Fiction Writing from Boston University.
