Frank Gruber, Author of "Urban Worrier: Making Politics Personal" and Co-Founder of Airport2Park to be Featured Guest Speaker at Activist Support Circle Public Forum

Frank Gruber, author of "Urban Worrier: Making Politics Personal" and co-founder of Airport2Park will be the featured guest speaker at the Activist Support Circle public forum on Wednesday, October 30. The event will take place at the Santa Monica Friends Meeting Hall located at 1440 Harvard Street, Santa Monica 90404. The program will start at 7:00PM. Doors open and refreshments will be served at 6:30PM

Mr. Gruber is an entertainment attorney, an author, a former member of the Santa Monica Planning Commission, a former local columnist, a popular blogger, and a longtime neighborhood activist and "self-proclaimed urbanist". He is also a co-founder of Airport2Park, a community coalition of residents who want to create a park for everyone in place of the Santa Monica Airport.

The event is free to the public. On-site free parking is available.

The Activist Support Circle is an open and ongoing support group for progressive activists that started in 2005 to help guard against activist burnout.
