Join us on the lawn of the California Heritage Museum for a very special appearance and exclusive showing of ‘Alison’s Adventures,’ starring Alison Teal, a female version of “Indiana Jones.” With a camera and a pink surfboard, Alison journeys into ancient cultures to share global secrets of survival, sustainability, and happiness through unique style of storytelling guided by her voice over and the wild characters she meets along the way.
We will be showing an episode from her ‘Alison’s Adventures’ series as well as a special go pro video of her preparation for the Naked and Afraid series on the Discovery Channel.

Alison heads off to Fiji to check out the Volcom Fiji pro and make an attempt to surf one of the biggest swells to ever hit Cloud Break. Kelly Slater calls Alison into a huge wave, but she gets swept inside and hurts herself on the reef. She thus decides to head off to a tiny island to rest and heal but little does she know it’s the magical island of the fire walkers.

Alison finds herself in an adventure with the island’s Chief, deep into the intense Fijian past; to a time of tribal wars, cannibals, and spiritual consequences for breaking traditions. As her virtue is gauged by a series of tests placed upon her by the villagers, along the way Alison learns the importance of family, living off the land, and stumbles upon the secret to happiness.
“Wild Child – The Adventure to Becoming Naked and Afraid”
Recently, Alison starred in “Naked and Afraid,” Discovery Channel’s highest rated series of 2013, and most-watched show in the network’s history. On “The Island from Hell” she survived for 21 days on a deserted island in the Maldives and earned the highest PSR (Primitive Survival Rating) of season one.
Follow Alison on her home turf as she talks with friends and locals who give guidance on how to survive in the wild without anything. She introduces you to some quirky characters along with some serious tips on how to stay alive.
