Public Screening of "Dirt! The Movie"

This is a great film featuring local activist Andy Lipkis, founder of Tree People.

Yes, it's all about dirt and soil, the ultimate natural resource for all life on earth.

"Dirt! The Movie" documents how most humans ignore, abuse, and destroy our most precious living natural resource. "Consider the results of such behavior: mass starvation, drought, floods, and global warming, and wars," it notes.

This film offers a vision of a sustainable relationship between Humans and Dirt through profiles of the global visionaries who are determined to repair the damage we’ve done before it’s too late.

This movie is inspiring and enlightening. It is also quite clever and funny.

See the screening Santa Monica's Public Library, Fairview Branch, on Saturday, September 28 at 12 noon. The Fairview Branch is located at 2101 Ocean Park Blvd.
