"SHINE A LIGHT FOR PEACE" PUBLIC EVENT TO HELP SAVE PAUL CONRAD'S 'CHAIN REACTION' SCULPTURE

Friends of Chain Reaction will gather around the landmarked 'Chain Reaction' peace sculpture in the Santa Monica Civic Center to "Shine a Light for Peace". The event will coincide with Santa Monica's "GLOW" all-night creative art exhibits (although not officially part of the program).The free-to-the-public event aspires to peacefully raise awareness about the monumental  sculpture's imminent removal.... unless the City hears the many voices that are insisting it be saved and restored. The event will also will be held to promote a community dialogue about war, peace and the ongoing struggle for nuclear abolition. Bring flashlights!  Shine your light on Chain Reaction!
