SHINE Storytelling - "Haunted" Edition

October
brings thoughts of ghosts, goblins and the supernatural.
But we can also be haunted by memories, obsessions, old loves, and
guilt.  This month, SHINE summons up stories
on the theme “Haunted” on Thursday, October 24 at 7:30pm at the YWCA
Santa Monica/Westside.

SHINE is a monthly storytelling series
featuring professionals and amateurs coming together every month to share
inspiring true stories.  Participants and
audience members enjoy a relaxed community atmosphere, powerful and entertaining
stories, refreshments, mingling, and live music.

Music in October will be provided by Seán Barna, a
singer/songwriter whose harrowing songs bring listeners from the streets of
Berlin and Kraków to the dark bars of Los Angeles, New York City, and
Washington, D.C
