The Best of SHINE Storytelling

SHINE, the popular Westside storytelling
event, celebrates its one-year anniversary with The Best of SHINE, favorite stories selected by the producers and
audience vote.

The Best of SHINE will feature inspiring true stories including a
woman’s whirlwind romance; a man’s decision to leave a high-paying corporate
job; a grandmother finding purpose after a 60-year marriage; a man coming to a
new understanding of God; and a woman having an important revelation after a
cross-country drive.

SHINE features professionals and amateurs
coming together monthly to share inspiring true stories.  Participants and audience members enjoy a
relaxed community atmosphere, powerful and entertaining stories, refreshments,
mingling, and live music.

Live music for February will be
provided by Heather
Stewart
, an acoustic rock singer/songwriter known for her fiery, courageous
spirit.  Her recently released full-length album, "What It Is," has been hailed by critics as “achingly personal,
beautiful” (Elmore Magazine) and “an
absolute gem” (Jersey Beat).
