VIDIOTS FOUNDATION AND KCRW PRESENT An Evening With Writer/Director Nicole Holofcener and Film Critic Joe Morgenstern
Join
us in welcoming writer/director Nicole Holofcener and Pulitzer Prize
winning film critic Joe Morgenstern as part of our Director's Series.
Nicole, dubbed "The Jane Austen of West L.A" by The Los Angeles Times
will discuss her films, which include Enough Said, starring Julia
Louis-Dreyfus and the late James Gandolfini. Holofcener's other films are Walking
and Talking, Lovely and Amazing, Friends
With Money and Please Give. Always funny, sometimes
wincingly so, Nicole's eagle-eyed look into the nature of being human,
warts and all engage the heart and mind in equal measure. The event will begin
at 7:30. Doors open at 7 PM, come early for refreshments.
