Santa Monica Pier Aquarium Earth Month Celebration

Heal the Bay's Santa Monica Pier Aquarium  hosts a weekend-long festival to celebrate Earth Month, with presentations and activities for all ages. Admission is free for everyone who first participates in a beach cleanup. Face painting, story times, scavenger hunts and crafts projects for children; displays, films and presentations focusing on shark conservation. "Who Pollutes" presentations both days at 2:00 and 4:30 p.m.

Shark feeding at the shark exhibit at 3:30 p.m. Sunday. Visitors can also check out marine life off the west end of the Pier at a wildlife observation station, equipped with binoculars and field guides and staffed by Aquarium naturalists.
