Meals on Wheels West is dedicated to nourishing and enriching the lives of the home-bound by delivering healthy meals and services that promote self-respect and independent living.
Why do they need a new vehicle?

There is currently NO chapter vehicle. Services are provided using available volunteer and staff vehicles, which are difficult to find when needed. This will ensure services will always be reliable. It will allow clients to always have their daily nutrition, go to doctor appointments, smile on holidays, have necessary furniture and appliances, and have friendship and hope. This new vehicle will be ready to deliver emergency meals in times of disasters. It will mean that Meals on Wheels West can assist the community's most vulnerable residents to remain in their own homes living independently with dignity.
