Halloween Will Hop on Montana Avenue
Readers suggest that's the place to be Thursday afternoon.
This week on Facebook, we asked our Santa Monica Patch FB followers to share their favorite spot for trick-or-treating.
Though some residents didn't want to give away the good spots and flood the area, others suggested Montana Avenue was a good place to take the kids.
The Halloween Hop takes place from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday on Montana between Sixth and 17th streets, where a number of merchants will be offering candy and Halloween-themed activities.
The one drawback mentioned on our Facebook query was that the road isn't closed to traffic and sidewalks can get crowded.
Wherever you choose to go and whatever you choose to do tonight, Santa Monica Patch wishes you a safe and fun Halloween.
