The holidays are approaching and most calendars are already full, however, this weekend there are a few activities worth checking out.
Mortified Nation will be premiering Saturday the 16th, at Lincoln middle school followed by a Q&A. This is a documentary where adults share their most embarrassing childhood moments and memories and “chronicles how the simple act of exposing your private past can inspire an entire nation to share their own shame.” Tickets are $15 per person. There is a parental advisory for anyone under the age of 18.
This Sunday the 17th, Pacific Park and the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles is inviting you and your dog for the first time, to play on the pier! Animals are not allowed on any of the rides, however, you can check your dog into the doggy valet for up to twenty minutes at a time. All proceeds will benefit the spcaLA programs and services. Tickets are $35 per person and $25 per pet, included is a vegetarian meal and unlimited rides.
