Organization Mourns Loss of Lauren Winkler in Santa Monica Plane Crash

Lauren Winkler, 28, was identified by the coroner's office as one of the two women who died in Sunday's fateful crash at Santa Monica Airport.
The organization Winkler worked for - Save a Child's Heart - which takes children from Africa and the Middle East to Israel for heart surgery - posted the following message on its Facebook page, Friday:
It is a very sad moment for Save a Child’s Heart as our past Young Leadership Director, Lauren Winkler, tragically passed away. We will remember her energy that filled up any room, her lightness and her love for our children. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.
