Marcy Winograd has made two posts that are misrepresented, misleading, and fabricated lies about the Ponies at the Farmers Market.
Marcy first post states the ponies are "suffering from cracked hooves". So I contacted Equine Veterinarians and one of the top schools in Equine Health and Veterinary Medicine. NONE of these can see any cracks in the ponies hooves!No signs of infection, they saw NO problems!
Next Marcy says the ponies are not watered and the animals water is "filthy" the Truth is ponies had an abundance of water and Marcy's idea of filthy water was the animals themselves put their feed in water because that is what the like!
Next Marcy was complaining that the animals should be kept as Nature intended them , free in pastures, the animals should have freedom of movement. Marcy has dogs, they where NOT meant to be kept in doors or leashes!
I understand that this the norm for politicians, but we have children involved and a woman that works hard to take care of her animals! Marcy does not have the integrity to admit she was wrong , sad! I have 54 years of working with animals, the ponies and animals at the Farmers Market in amazing condition and the children love it. Tawni has done the animals and community a huge service!
We are concerned about Marcy Winograds behavior, she needs leave Tawni, the children and animals alone! Her behavior is alarming and a red flag!
