Car Wash Manager Stabbed, Hospitalized
Rigo Torrez, manager of Wilshire West Car Wash, is attacked Friday morning.
The manager of is in the hospital after being stabbed at the car wash on Friday morning, an officer with the has confirmed to Santa Monica Patch.
A clerk at the car wash told Santa Monica Patch that Rigo Torrez "was attacked by someone." The clerk, who was not working at the car wash at the time of the incident, did not know more details about what happened.
The SMPD officer also did not have additional information about the incident.

Santa Monica Patch learned of the incident on Friday morning thanks to a news tip from a reader. The car wash was closed and was "swarming with police," the reader wrote.
A police foresincs vehicle was seen leaving the car wash and heading south on 24th Street around noon.
