LAPD officers found Laila Kaddoura in downtown Los Angeles.

Santa Monica police report that a missing teen-aged girl -- the subject of a police press release Tuesday -- has been found.

Laila Kaddoura, 17, is diagnosed with Asperger syndrome and suffers from anxiety. Because of those conditions, police classified her case as a "critical missing" person.

She was last seen around 1 p.m. at her Santa Monica home. Today, police report that Los Angeles Police Department officers found Kaddoura at the MTA bus station in downtown L.A.

There was no foul play, according to a Santa Monica Police Department news release. She was released into the custody of a family member.
