Once a report is submitted, a number will be assigned and the case forwarded to the department. If the police need more information, a community service officer will contact the filer, according to the announcement.

If the report is accepted, and if the filer provides his e-mail address, an official copy of the final report will be e-mailed for free within about three business days. Otherwise, click here for information on how to obtain a copy of the report.
