Santa Monica Fire Department Extinguishes Early Morning Trash Fire

Originally thought to be a structure fire, the trash fire was quickly extinguished shortly after 1 a.m. Friday.

The Santa Monica Fire Department extinguished a trash fire in the 2500 block of Santa Monica Boulevard shortly after 1 a.m. Friday morning.

The department had initially reported the fire as a structure fire but that turned out not to be the case.

No injuries were reported.
