The 13-year-old was standing with a woman beside a disabled vehicle when they were struck by an allegedly drunken driver.

The young Santa Monica teen killed by an allegedly drunken driver early Sunday morning on a freeway in Hacienda Heights has been identified by the coroner's office as Maximillion Infnity Petrakos.

Petrakos, 13, was standing with a woman beside a disabled car on the Pomona Freeway when he was fatally struck by a Honda Civic. The 41-year-old driver of the disabled car suffered major injuries, and a 10-year-old boy inside it had injuries listed as moderate by the CHP.

The Honda's driver, later identified as Tina Silva, 28, of Hacienda Heights, was traveling about 60 mph when she allowed her car to drift to the right shoulder. She was booked on suspicion of drunken driving minutes after the crash.

Silva had driven off the freeway at the Seventh Street exit but was tracked down by police, according to CHP officer Monica Posada.

The crash in westbound lanes, east of Seventh Avenue, was reported at 12:41 a.m. Sunday, Posada said.
