Police Release Photo of Woman in Identity Theft Case

Santa Monica Police asked for the public's help Thursday in finding a woman accused of identity theft and burglary. 

The woman, whose photo was released, entered a Wells Fargo Bank on May 1 located at 1300 4th St. and used a counterfeit bank card and identification to complete two withdrawals from the victims account, totaling more than $2,000, SMPD Sgt. Richard Lewis said.

She is described as a white female, 25-30 years old, short in stature, long brown dark hair, and wearing dark framed glasses.
