Skating on Thin Ice

On Jan. 10 at approximately 10:30 p.m. Santa Monica Police officers responded to the ice rink at 5th and Arizona in response to a man causing a disturbance there. 

Officers spoke to a witness who told them that the man causing the disturbance was underneath a table at the concession stand and that he would not come out when asked.  He told the employees that he was scared and “off his meds.” 

Officers contacted the individual and immediately saw that he was showing signs that he was under the influence of a central nervous system stimulant.  When they asked him if he took any drugs that day, he told them, methamphetamine. 

Suspect: Lassiter, Brian Adam, M/White, 5-12-85, (28) of Dana Point. Bail: $2,500.
