The High Price of Tea At Bloomingdale’s

Marina Stanislav Lee was arrested after she was found with jewelry, bags, scarfs and two tea bags from the Santa Monica store, that she hadn't paid for.

On Jan. 5 at approximately 10:30 p.m. Santa Monica Police officers responded to 315 Colorado Ave, the Bloomingdale’s Department Store, regarding a theft suspect in custody.

When officers arrived at the store they were told by store security that the subject was seen selecting several jewelry items and placing them in her pocket.  She then selected a tote bag and took the tag off of the tote bag and carried the tote bag on her shoulder.

The subject walked into a restroom and exited it after a few minutes.  Store security checked the restroom and found jewelry tags from their merchandise inside the trash there.  The subject was then seen going into a food area of Bloomingdales and selecting two tea bags, which she placed inside of her tote bag.
