Victim of Armed Robbery Was Jewelry Company Employee

Police are still searching for the four suspects allegedly involved in Tuesday's armed robbery.

The man who of a reported $1.5 million worth of jewelry on Tuesday afternoon is a sales representative for a jewelry company, the said Wednesday.

The victim, whose identity has not been made known to the public, was robbed at 2025 Wilshire Blvd. by three men, one of whom was armed. The man had eaten lunch at the Veggie Grill and returned to his car in the parking lot behind the restaurant, at which point he was robbed.

"One suspect held a handgun to the victim while a second suspect reached into the front passenger side window and stole a black hard case messenger bag containing miscellaneous jewelry," police said.

The three suspects, driven by a fourth suspect, fled northbound on 21st St.

Police are still seeking the suspects. The three men who allegedly robbed the victim are said to be males in their mid-20s. They are 5'8" to 5'10" in height; have a muscular build; and wear dark sunglasses, dark long sleeve shirts, dark pants and gloves, according to police. They used an unknown caliber handgun, police also said.

The victim didn't see the driver of the vehicle.
