The Recreation & Parks Commission advises the City Council and the Department of Community and Cultural Services on matters in the areas of public recreation, open space and the community forest. The Commission consists of seven City Council-appointed Santa Monica residents. Staff support is provided by the Community & Cultural Services Administration Division.
