A City of Santa Monica release states that, “the potential, three-mile Michigan Avenue Neighborhood  Greenway (MANGo) would connect residents to schools and community destinations via an inviting streetscape of sidewalks, calm roadways, increased trees and landscape along Michigan Avenue and adjoining streets. Spanning  from Stewart Street to the beach, the Greenway would  provide residents and visitors with a safe and comfortable  place to walk, bike, interact with neighbors, and just be."

Following tonight’s meeting there will be a separate presentation to the community on Thursday night, where discussion will also be encouraged. That meeting will take place in the Patio Room at Virginia Avenue Park at 6:30 p.m.
