"While a bar, we take the food at The Misfit very seriously," the restaurant's owner Bob Lynn wrote in an e-mail. "Serving grass-fed beef is an extremely important part of our ideology of serving clean, healthy and delicious food that can be enjoyed on a daily basis."
The Misfit currently serves two other burgers, each of them for $13 and, for the most part, all well reviewed on the popular directory site, yelp.com:
- Green chile burger: Oregon cheddar, spicy Russian sauce, onion, fried cage free egg.
- Ahi tuna burger, pan seared medium rare, Meyer lemon aioli, avocado.
On Yelp, one user said: "Definitely a bit on the pricy side but the service, atmosphere and 'Misfit burger' alone are worth giving this place a try! ... I had their misfit burger and my friend had their chili burger. Both burgers were on the small-ish scale but what they lacked in size, they made up for in flavor. My medium-rare burger was perfectly cooked, seasoned and assembled. Our fries were delicate, flavorful and packed the perfect crunch."
