A Walk Around the Winter Hexagon

Come explore the Winter Hexagon of first magnitude stars. We'll view specatular images of the Orion and Rosette nebulae, several beautiful star clusters, Barnard's Loop, red giant Betelgeuse, brightest star in the sky Sirius, the Crab Nebula, and other treasures. Then, if weather permits, we'll step outside and use a visible green laser beam to locate the Winter Hexagon in the real sky. Bring along a sweater or jacket!. Admission is $5 ($4 for seniors age 60+ and children age 12 and under). For more information, call (310) 434-4223.
