Grades of Green VERTE Event to Recognize Environmental Heroes at Annenberg Community Beach House

International non-profit organization Grades of Green will hold its Second Annual VERTE fundraiser on April 27, 2012 at the LEED® Gold-certified Annenberg Community Beach House in Santa Monica, California. With this event, the organization hopes to raise funding and awareness for its vision create environmentally responsible young citizens.

During the evening’s festivities, Grades of Green will honor the individuals and organizations who have made their programs an international success, including environmental advocate and former teacher, Ranae DeSantis; Wells Fargo, who sponsored Grades of Green’s programs in inner-city schools; and the Sanitation Districts of Los Angeles County, which sponsored a Trash-Free Lunch Challenge in numerous schools, resulting in the annual diversion of 18,000 pounds of landfill waste. Award-winning reality producer JD Roth will host the event.
