Moms Talk: Who Was Your Favorite Teacher?

for many districts (including our own), and many students met their teachers for the first time. Also, parents met the other adults who will have a large influence in the way their own child grows and learns.

We all have memories of our own childhood favorite teacher. Maybe yours was the one who always knew how to make a boring subject interesting. Or the one who helped you negotiate the tricky politics of the playground.

We at Santa Monica Patch want to know: Who was your favorite teacher? Why? Does your child already have a teacher they long to have again? What made that teacher such a standout?
