kidsrevolving - Artful Movers (yoga for 6 years - 10 years old)

Rhythmic fusion and grounding meditation engages kids in a way that their growing bodies and minds can relate to. Emphasis is placed on improving body awareness through combinations of locomotor and non-locomotor sequences. Participants begin with a breathing warm-up and then experience a series of movement explorations based on themes inspired by cultures from around the world (ie: Parisian Weekend, Crazy for Chile, Treking Across the Himalayas, Flipping For the Philippines, etc), concluding with a tranquil cool-down segment of guided visualization and scrumptious hand/foot rubs. Enjoy a time-out that builds a strong foundation and motivates family bonding. Natural Juice Snack included. All yoga mats, weekly props, eye pillows and lotions provided.
