Santa Monica SnowFest

Santa Monica, CA- Clarity Church of Santa Monica plans to bring the first snow to the city since 1962. The event being called, “Santa Monica SnowFest” will take place Saturday July 14, 2012 beginning at 10:30 am. SnowFest is free and open to the public. The church has garnered media attention since it’s beginning with the Skydiving Easter Bunny and the Eggstravaganza of 2011.

“We want to continue doing things for the community in over the top ways. We love Santa Monica and love creating events that bring all different types of people together, especially young families,” says Lead Pastor Nathan Kollar.

Real snow will be blown all over the field of McKinley Elementary located at 2401 Santa Monica Blvd. Registration begins at 10:30 am and SnowFest begins at 11. Arrive early to ensure a spot on the field. The event will also include face painting, balloon animals and snacks.
