Samohi Volleyball Nets Top Seed in CIF Playoffs
The Vikings are No. 1 in Division 4, while Crossroads and St. Monica also secure berths.
The CIF Southern Section released its boys volleyball playoff pairings Sunday and is the top seed in Division 4.
Numerous first-round games will take place at 7 p.m. on Tuesday:
• The Ocean League champion Vikings will host the winner of Monday's wild-card match between Los Amigos and Anaheim.

• , the third-place team from the Alpha League, will travel south to Westminster to take on Garden Grove League champion La Quinta.

Second round matches in all divisions are Thursday; quarterfinals are Saturday; semifinals are May 17; and championships are May 21 at Cypress College.
