Blog | Dogtown Coffee Opens on Main Street

New coffee shop plays homage to the area's skater culture past.

The uber cool Dogtown Coffee has officially opened at the corner of Bay and Main in Santa Monica. Offering local organic coffee as well as a wide encompassing tea selection and an all day breakfast and panini menu consisting of a make-your-own slider component, Dogtown is located in the iconic Zephyr building.

In keeping the spirit of the building's heritage and the community, owners Itay and Assaf Raz and Itai Klein have decked the shop out with surf and skate culture accessories, including a pretty rad wall mural overlooking the seating area. It also features some of the original Zephyr building "art" like the "NO KOOKS" sign by the front door.

Dogtown Coffee is at at 2003 Main St. It's open weekdays 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and weekends 7 a.m to 8 pm. There's free Wifi.
