Hundreds of Kids Get 'Best Gifts Ever'

The Santa Monica Police Activities League distributes gifts to hundreds of children who might not otherwise receive any this holiday.

From mid-November through Dec. 13, the Santa Monica Police Activities League (PAL), Downtown Santa Monica and Santa Monica Place invited residents and local businesses  to donate gifts for the Sixth Annual Best Gift Ever Toy Drive. PAL distributed the gifts Saturday to hundreds of children, ages 6-17, who might not otherwise receive any this holiday.
