Meals on Wheels West's March for Meals, LA Marathon Efforts: See Pics
City dignitaries and other volunteers have pitched in for the nonprofit's recent charity events.
On Wednesday, staged its annual March for Meals event, for which Santa Monica volunteers and city officials help the nonprofit organization deliver meals. Participants included Mayor , Chamber of Commerce President/CEO Laurel Rosen, various MoWW board members, and members of the Santa Monica and Departments.
Meanwhile, earlier in the week, Meals on Wheels West saw its fleet of LA Marathon runners—who participated under the name "Team Meals"—complete the race. The team will continue accepting donations until Apr. 15.
