Border Grill opened to rave reviews years ago under the ownership of two celebrity chefs, the Food Network's Susan Feniger and Mary Miliken. The idea was to bring the cuisine of the Mexican states of Oaxaca and Yucatan, and serve it in an upscale setting. The two chefs have established themselves, set up a Border Grill kiosk downtown, and catered events large and small, but the original location is still in full swing. Colorful Mexican art covers the red and purple walls. Watch as the dessert chef whips up some flan or banana cream pie near the front window. In addition to food, you'll find a small selection of cookbooks written by the two chefs and apparel for sale.
