John Muir Elementary School
<p>John Muir Elementary School promotes academic excellence, diversity, and visual and performing arts within a safe and supportive environment. The school achieved an 803 API score in 2009. Its pathway schools are John Adams Middle School and Santa Monica High School.</p> <p>Programs held during school include child care, recreation, enrichment, Sports Together (CREST), P.S. Arts (both music and visual arts), summer adventure and summer reading. After-school programs include Dream Strings and Dream Winds (instrumental-music tutoring), Elemental Strings Orchestra and Family Gardens.</p>
