<p>The Morgan-Wixson is one of the oldest arts organizations in Santa Monica but, true to its dramatic mission, it is constantly reinventing itself. Named in honor of former Santa Monica Mayor Geoffrey Morgan and Mel Wixson, both instrumental in founding the organization in the 1940s, the present theater building was constructed in the 1960s, and has been the home of hundreds of productions from across the performing arts spectrum.</p> <p></p>
